Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI) has partnered with Unique Network and WalletConnect on Polkadot to launch a groundbreaking initiative called DOTphin. This collaboration, set to debut at Polkadot Decoded 2024, will utilize NFTs to drive environmental progress. The project gained approval from the Polkadot OpenGov community, highlighting its strong community support.
DOTphin, powered by dynamic NFTs, aims to revolutionize event engagement and make a tangible ecological impact. By transforming event participation into an interactive journey, the project aligns digital advancements with sustainability, resulting in more rewarding events and increased user engagement.
As an eco-linked dynamic multi-pass, DOTphin supports biodiversity restoration. Each pass is represented by an NFT avatar that evolves through a series of physical and digital events, bringing community engagement and sustainability support to the Polkadot ecosystem.
The official launch of DOTphin will kick off at Polkadot Decoded 2024 on July 11, with attendees receiving eco-badges that serve as keys to claim unique DOTphin NFTs. EthCC ticket holders will also have the opportunity to claim a free Decoded ticket and their first POAP, unlocking a multi-event, multi-month journey dedicated to marine conservation efforts.
DOTphin, with its focus on sustainability, aligns perfectly with Polkadot’s reputation as a green blockchain with a minimal carbon footprint. Targeting environmentally-conscious users and investors, DOTphin showcases another use case for Polkadot technology and demonstrates how blockchain can have a positive impact on the environment.
