What is MemeFi?
MemeFi is a Web3 gaming ecosystem built around meme culture. It has attracted over 50 million users with two main games: MemeFi Club and MemeFi Coin. MemeFi Club is a browser-based platform that combines social interactions with gaming, while MemeFi Coin is a Telegram clicker game where players “tap-to-earn.”
In these games, players collect NFTs and earn rewards for completing missions, leveling up, and joining “meme clans” where they compete against others. MemeFi uses two tokens: MEMEFI, which functions as the main token for rewards and governance, and PWR, a stable token used for in-game transactions.
Initially, MemeFi was set to launch on Ethereum’s Layer-2 network, Linea. However, the project recently announced a shift to Sui’s Layer-1 network.
